It's pretty gratifying to see how much sock knitting you can accomplish when your ten year old son has back-to-back soccer and baseball practices in one evening. Between watching him kick the ball on the field and catch pop flies, interspersed with an occasional "thumbs up" from Mom when he glances over for parental approval, I managed to knit the whole leg, turn the heel, and start on the foot of the second Sockapaloooza sock. It should be easy enough to finish these up in time for the mailing deadline, especially if there are any more sport practices coming up.
Note to self: Open car windows for air ventilation when driving home smelly, sweaty boy.
This is good news since I just became a soccer mom last weekend. I look forward to many more FOs now that I have mandatory downtime to knit!
BTW, your Vegas trip sounded like a blast. Glad you had a good time.
